SCRATCH: The Virtual Production with the Together Collective

Where Dance meets Digital.

Following the success of our SCRATCH pilot event in April we welcomed seven artists from the Together Collective to take part in a new Digital Labs programme. Together, they have had a experimental and innovative summer of learning, connecting and fully immersing themselves in our Digital programme.  The programme is designed to explore artistic areas of focus, interests and digital experience (or lack of!) and discover how Digital can support artists on their journey.

We invite you to attend our upcoming SCRATCH hybrid event -  an intimate viewing of seven works-in-progress, explored via green screen, virtual production, live improvisation, protest and much more.

If you choose to join us in the Studio, you have the option of watching a live stream of each performance from our viewing space in Studio 1 or alternatively, enjoying a behind the scenes look in Studio 2.

If you are unable to join us in the studio, we are delighted to announce that you can live-stream the entire event from the comfort of your own home.

This is an experimental event for us to explore and understand different ways of presenting and experiencing work, made possible by Dance Consortia North West and Arts Council England as part of their research programme.  We are experimenting and exploring along with our artists and we hope you enjoy what unfolds!
